This question has always bothered me a bit. It presumes that we are defined largely by our careers and/or a singular focus. And I'd like to think we are much more multi-dimensional than this. Here's a brief rundown of what it's like to be me...
Each and every day, I wrestle with ideas. I rethink big ones, little ones, random ones. I’m a dreamer at heart, a creative by trade, and a problem-solver by nature (and disorder). I despise inefficiencies. I obsess over words, light temperature, and the human experience. I am of the 1% of humans diagnosed as celiac. And I was honorably awarded the "highest score" ever tested on the ADHD scale by my psychiatrist.
Professionally, people pay me to design things (to "creatively direct and produce"), write words, and create "better experiences." I’m a serial entrepreneur with a love for creating spaces / experiences that bring people together to eat, drink, and connect.
Unprofessionally, I'm an avid golfer, and the father of three distinctly creative, thoughtful, and amazing children (now adults). I devour music and film to better understand myself and culture, play piano to pause and unwind, and take photos to see the world a little differently.
